Opening its door in 2001, Ritz Carlton Doha has kept its consistency to provide utmost comfort to its customers at all times. Steps have always been taken to make sure that their promise is intact. As a part of it, now they have upgraded their hotel facilities and taken it to the next level.
I was invited to explore the upgraded facilities at the hotel and the experience was incredible. Every element of the relaunched rooms, spa and the club lounge has done thoughtfully and for a purpose.
Club Lounge at Ritz Carlton Doha is the unique and new concept that they have brought to reality compared to any other hotels in the country. The theme is ‘ a hotel within a hotel’ providing exclusive and comfortable personal service to their guests.
Located on the 23rd floor, overlooking beautiful azure water, this is the place where you could peacefully enjoy family time, reading, business plans or just some ‘me’ time alone. Most attractive part is that there is a mini buffet available and a chef of your own preparing his specialty dishes throughout the day to make you feel extremely special.
Access to the Club Lounge : Guests can pay a few extra perks (approximately around QAR.300/- ) and it is all yours. You could have breakfast, lunch, high tea and mini snacks all day long.
The relaunched Spa interior, ambiance and treatments are inspired by Qatar’s pearling culture and the secrets of the Arabian sea. The experience was luxuriously calm to your body and soul. If I talk about their treatments, it includes use of real pearls bought from the local sellers, crush it with sea salt, with added minerals and apply as scrub and another treatment that use heated clam shells to relax your muscles. How does that sounds to you?
I had got that opportunity to have a quick look at Ritz Carlton’s deluxe rooms, Executive and Amiri Suite and I was delighted to see the modern yet classic interior, spaciousness of each room and the latest modern amnesties made available . The Executive and Amiri suite were extremely huge with modern edge cutting composition and a living space separated from the bedroom. The bathrooms had white Lux Tuscan marbles with sensor bath tubs which makes it even more luxurious.
At the Amiri Suite, a chocolate structure was kept with a dusting of edible gold. The structure resembles a piece of art you could find at the Museum of Islamic Art. Isn’t that interesting ?
Overall it was a pleasant experience we had at Ritz Carlton Doha. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout the tour. The club lounge was a very unique experience and I adore the ambiance out there. The food was fresh and delicious. Definitely worth the penny you spent.
