Green Chutney Chicken Wrap

Green Chutney Chicken Wrap

It is obvious that whenever we make chat or other snacks, we end with having leftover chutneys or sauces and we do not know what to do with it.

Here is a simple quick recipe that you can make in 30 mins using the left over sauces or chutneys. What I have in my house is green chutney and I am going to prepare a wrap with it. Start by marinating the chicken pieces with the green chutney and let it rest for 15 mins or more and shallow fry it in olive oil. In the same pan, add some red onion, bell peppers, saute for a minute and then cucumber and tomato. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper. In a tortilla or roti, apply some spreadable cheese or Kraft cheese , put the chicken pieces, the salad mixture and some mozzarella cheese, wrap it and place it on a hot pan to melt the cheese.

The roti I used is a mix of wheat flour and all purpose flour. Add salt , water and knead it very well for 6-8 minutes. Let it rest for 20-30 minutes. Take a small amount of the dough and roll it into a very thin sheet and you will get a beautiful thin wrap. You can skip this using a store bought roti or tortilla wrap.

Bon Appetite!!
